Today I stumbled upon an interesting video about the state of Flow and decided to draft checklists of what helps me enter the Flow state and what throws me out of it.
I’ll talk about them at the end of this mini research post.
First, let’s recall those feelings and events that place us in the Flow state.
You’ve surely experienced this state of pleasure from self-actualization many times, with heightened and justified self-confidence, solving problems of any complexity effectively or finding unconventional ways to solve them.
In this state, through our actions, decisions and energy, we become something that I can describe as a magnet, attracting people, events, luck and success to us.
As soon as you think, make a decision, and take the first steps toward the true goal, almost instantly people will start calling or writing to you. These people are the ones with whom you didn’t initiate conversations or you did but it was a long time ago. As a result, you see clear answers or signs around you.
The key question is: how can you consciously enter this Flow state and stay in it?
Here’s what Wikipedia says: “Flow is a mental state in which a person performing some activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity”.

Indeed, when I retrospectively recalled all my states of Flow and the amazing results of being in it, I was completely (soul, body, consciousness, and subconsciousness) immersed in the task at hand, being in a state of inspiration and ironclad confidence in everything.
It turns out that to be a part of this powerful life current, if you will, you need to become the very Flow of decisions and actions. To be in harmony with yourself and with the world.
And most importantly – to act.
“Thought about it – did it, wanted it – realized it.”
But as soon as you start to doubt, the Flow slips away, and you’ll have to wait for your chance again.
The faster we act, the more chances we have for success.
Each attempt accelerates the events of our life, bringing us closer to people who are also striving for results, to events that we ourselves initiate, often without realizing it.
Speed is the key! The faster we move, the easier it is to stay in the Flow zone.
