How to conduct Lakshmi Puja during Diwali

Preparation

  • Clean the house and decorate it with flowers, rangoli, and diyas (oil lamps). 
  • Set up the Puja Altar. Create a sacred space for the Puja by placing a clean cloth on a raised platform or table. Place idols or images of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesh, and other deities if desired.
  • Light the diyas and keep them burning throughout the Puja.
